We began renovating a foreclosure over 3 months ago. The floors were refinished by my contractor using Masterline oil based poly which I now know was a big mistake. Anyway, over a month later the fumes in the house are still overwhelming and we can't move in. We do have some moiture issues in the crawlspace which are getting repaired. I'm hoping this is the fix, but not very confident in anything anymore Does anyone have experience with a problem like this? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

theres nothing wrong with masterline is a good economical choice we sell it pallet after pallet with zero problems. The problem is that damp basement/crawlspace. The finish cant/wont dry if the woods wet and high moisture will slow it down to a crawl. I would encapsulate the crawl space and put some dehumidifers down there. That is of course if you already have eliminated all other sources of moisture down there drainage issues, gutters down spots ect.
