from a high heel. Oak floor with 3 coats of poly. Anyway to disguise these better. We tried wet cloth with an iron someone said it would help pull the wood up. Not really.
Someone else, a wood floor guy, said to use a childs paint brush and put poly in the holes. They really aren't that deep, but in certain lights it is really noticable! They are driving me crazy.
Or would we need to refinish it, or a piece of the floor.
Mostly it's concentrated in 2 spots, but there are dings all over my house!
Thanks in advance

Until you realise wood floors gain character over the years, your going to pull your hair out.

To keep them perfect, don't use them.

That is true, and I'll have to just let it go. We do have other "character building"scratches that don't bother me, this was a little extreme I think. Thank goodness it was satin finish, or I think it would be worse.
I'm more mad at myself because I asked her to take them off, but she didn't.
I know, I need to get a life right? :-)
