I have four small but deeper dents in the entrance of my home, about 1 foot from the front door. They are about the depth and width of an average pencil eraser and very noticeable.

What is the best way to repair them? Floors are cherry - do not think that they are hardwood, might be engineered wood flooring. Do not have any extra boards.

Would like to have this fixed ASAP; am open to options.

Thanks.

You need to get some pre-finish wood patch from Woodwise. Buy colors close to the match, then mix as necessary to get the closest color. Make a little sample and let it dry to see if you like the color. It has some shine and will not need to be finished until you coat the whole room as it becomes worn. You may color it with pencils after it has dried. Wipe off the excess around the patch while it is still damp.
You may not get a perfect blend, but the deep dents will be gone.
