I'm installing 3/4" reclaimed pine flooring and plan to do a light/moderate "sanding" (with screens) to maintain the patina of this old wood. However, I am running to some serious overwood issues in a few spots. Any advice on how to reduce the toe-stubbers without totally destroying the patina? Or do I just need to bite the bullet and sand down to the raw wood on those boards?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, your going to need to sand it down, even if it didn't have overwood.
