 Post subject: Date on Bostik GreenGrip Lid

Is the date stamped on the lid of Bostik adhesives the manufacture date or the expiration date? Thanks.

I think it is when it was made. It is usually guaranteed for one year in an unopened container. You can always test it even if it is over a year old. If it passes the hold test, use it. Some of the moisture curing glues can have a film on top where the glue reacts with any moisture. Just scrape off the solid layer, or turn the can upside down to open it and it will still be good.
