I recently purchased 1,500 SF of 3/4 inch Kempas (5 wide). Unfortunately, I'm discovering that all but about 100sf of my house is 3/4 Particle Board over 1/2 plywood subfloor. Question...anyone ever ran a bead of Liquid Nails along the underside of the tongue between boards for extra adhesion? And, if so, might this be a reasonable solution to tearing out all of the PB? Is the 1/2" plywood subfloor going to help my chances? Or - do I give up now and start ripping? Thanks.
