Might seem like a simple question, but are wider boards more prone to cupping. I am considering a Solid Topaz Acacia that is 4 3/4" width, and 3/4" thick solid T&G. Live in in central Indiana, and I'm concerned about cupping. Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks

The size of the wood doesn't matter with cupping due to moisture. Any solid wood floor subjected to moisture will cup eventually. With a solid wood floor make 100% sure you are doing the subfloor correctly. Tar-6mil plastic-tar-3/4 ply wood- and maybe 15lb roofing felt if you want for added protection and sound proofing. Do a moisture check before any installation at all. Do not just glue down your floor straight to the concrete if you have concrete. I'm in Arizona so we do things a little different
