It's been a year since we installed our stranded bamboo flooring. We live in South Georgia. This summer the floor started cupping and seems to be getting worse. There are also some boards that have some kind of sticky sap coming out of them. There are two layers of plywood underneath and a moisture barrier between the plywood and bamboo. Could this be due to humidity under the house? We have plastic on the ground under the house and two fans that blow almost continuously underneath to eliminate moisture under the house. We nailed the bamboo with staples. If it gets worse, can we salvage it by taking it up and laying it back down? Thank you

That sounds really bad. Possibly some defective product. I've never seen sticky sap like stuff coming out of strand.
