We are considering installing unfinished cumaru throughout the whole house(bathrooms/kitchen/laundry room) included. I have tested waterlox on a sample board, it looks good. We will probably go with the satin finish.
Does anyone know of any gotcha's with this combo?
Thanks,elephant

Nope, Waterlox will work just fine, IMO. It's super easy to apply but stinks so wear a chemical respirator. I buff it out with maroon pads after the first coat to acheive a smoother finish. Not required for adhesion. I like the idea of using the satin as it will show scuffing less. 3 to 4 coats are recommended.
