I know that BC is so popular that BT. But I don't want too much dark in my home and few images of BC are lighter comapre with few others of BC. Why is this color variation in BC itself? I still didn't get good idea of BT but feel like its lighter version of BC. Am i correct?

Is there any alternative to BC in lighter version in exotics?
Which will add more resale value to my home, maple or BC or BT?
