Hi all, I just got some beautiful reclaimed Douglas Fir flooring installed, and it looks gorgeous. The installer paid attention to detail, and did a beautiful job on the install and the finish. The issue I am having is that the floor is now crackling. I am concerned that this might be a permanent issue. It isn't super loud, but it is loud enough to wake me up when my wife goes to the washroom, and you can hear crackling from the rooms underneath.
Here is a video of the issue:

My question is, is this something we should just learn to live with? Could the heated floors have perhaps messed with the glue curing? Is it possible that the staples perhaps were not long enough? Is there anything at all we can do to remedy the situation?
Thanks all for any advice!
