[img][img][/img][/img]Hello,

We had oak hardwood floors installed about 1.5 years ago. Just today I noticed a crack/split in one plank located just after you walk into our bedroom. It's a high traffic area. The crack is right at the beginning and extends down the middle of the plank. Based on placement, it looks like natural cracking or splitting. Can a wood putty be used for this? see attached
Thank you

You may be able to glue the two pieces together. This would b e the best solution if it can come together without exposing a splinter, which should require replacement. Putty would only be good for a crack that will not move in the future.
There is a thick super glue that will be one solution.
