I live in a concrete high rise and will be replacing the wood flooring. To control noise to the lower floor, I am considering a 3mm cork underlayment glued to the concrete, and then an engineered hardwood (looking at the BR-111 product line) glued to the cork. Considering Bostik Best urethane adhesive for both the the cork to concrete and cork to engineered hardwood. Obviously twice the work.

Anyone have any experience/tips with cork underlayment or other underlayment products?

Thanks
