Anybody here use one? Choice is either a Paslode, that use's the fuel cells/battery or the Senco, that has a mini compressor. I'm thinking, will either of these have aproblem driving a 1 1/2 " brad thru oak shoe moulding/ quarter round? Also, do the paslode still have problem with fuel cell leakdown between use's?

I use the paslode and shoot 2 1/2" brads through oak. Fuel cells last a long time, one of the best purchases I think I have made. A lot better and easier than hauling the compressor and gun around.

Great. I hate dragging hoses on a finished floor. Thanks for the input.

I bought the Paslode 18ga Impulse about a year ago. No problems at all. It uses the short yellow gas cartridges like the angled 16ga finish nailer uses. My 16ga Impulse is the straight finish nailer that uses the long cartridges. I just stock up on both types. The cartridges do go bad, so look at the dates on the bottom.

I did paslode for awhile and it was very good to me . I just purchased the 18 volt dewalt brad nailer and let me tell you it is nice not buying or smelling the gas. I was scared that just a battery would not SET the nail. This gun is cool I can set it for rapid fire or single shot and it has a twist knob for the countersink. I just used it to nail some brazilian cherry stairs I did. Glue and face nail, fill and finish.
