The Mrs. and I are looking at buying a new place, and are thinking of installing Tigerwood on a 45* angle. It appears a plywood sub floor will need to be installed over sleepers on the concrete slab. what direct shoudl teh plywood run in relation to teh engineered flooring.

The way you posed the question does not really matter. What matters is the subfloor is laid perpendicular to the sleepers. I prefer 2x sleepers at 12" OC so the finished flooring can be installed any way you choose.
