My chosen supplier for Tiete Rosewood recommends "Cleats over Staples during the installation of exotic 3/4" solid, as staples often hold the flooring too tightly and restrict the natural expansion and contraction of the hardwood." This recommendation makes me wonder if Tiete Rosewood responds more to humidity/temperature changes than conventional oak or maple hardwoods. Can anyone give me insight into Tiete Rosewood's sensitivity to climate and its potential to expand or contract in response? Thank you!
