Hello,

I am looking for recommendations on which flooring type and brand to use.

Have dogs and kids.
Like wider planks 3+ inches.
Glue down application over concrete slab.
Do not like beveled edges or laminates.
Like neutral but varying not red wood tones (similar to walnut)
I understand flooring will eventually be scratched and want to choose a finish and color where that will make it look better, not worse.
Distressed look is okay but not barnyard look. Like smooth a little better.
Needs to be classic looking and go with different decor for better resale value.

Any recommendations would be great. I appreciate any input!

What should I stay away from?
Where should I begin to look?
