Hi - we have ripped out our old carpet that was laid over hardwood. However we have kept the carpet in one room. I am wondering how to transition properly as the carpet is actually a little higher than the hardwood and i am not able to have a gap between the two floors in order to do some of the online DIY instructions that I have seen as the hardwood is also still under the carpet in the one room.
Please help!
