When I pulled up the tack strips, I pulled up a lot more than just the concrete nails. Some holes are 1/2" deep craters. If I am to patch these holes up around the perimeter of the room, what is the suitable product (localized patching compound, self-levelling compound, or just glue) to use? I have seen patching product by Mapei (Planipatch) and a self-levelling product (Novoplan2) by Mapei at local DIY stores. Since I would not be requiring levelling, my gut tells me that a self-leveller is not the way to go for this type of job. I also have minor concrete crack lines throughout the rooms. Not sure what product if any I should use to cover those crack lines. Thanks.

Unless they were extremely large holes, I would just fill them with the glue as I working my way across the room.
