Hi,
About 4 years ago we had pre-finished cherry hardwood floors installed. They show every dent, scratch, and dust ball. I would NEVER get them if I had to do it over again. Is it possible to distress them now, rather than replace them? If so, are there contractors out there who do this? Or is this a do-it-yourself project?
Looking for some tips to point me in the right direction. We're in Massachusetts.
Thanks!

This is more of a diy job. you can distress them to a desirable point of your preference. afterwards get a flooring service to buff and coat so the floor looks distressed but new to the touch.
