I am putting engineered Hallmark Heirloom Natural Walnut in a renovated mill condo which was converted 10 years ago. The original structure is 100 years old. There are hairline fractures on the walls and window sills, which indicate the building may continue to "move." The installer has told me that
1. the glue down floor will not have a problem 2. the new glues are more flexible and will breathe and move
Should I stay with the glue or try to have a pad and floating floor?
