Need some input,
Site sanded a solid maple floor to bare wood, water popped it, and stained with Minwax Red Mahoganey Stain. Allowed to dry 3 days, thinned my first coat of Minwax Super Fast Dry (Gloss) with 10% Mineral Spirits and applied. Seen some bubbles when dried after 24 hours, screened them out and applied a second non dilluted coat of Poly to find, More Bubbles? Using an 18" T-Bar W/ Foam tapered applicator, while taking care in keeping a consistent coat, not to thin. Any Suggestions ???

something wasn't dry..what formula red mahogany you using> new 350?

this is what I think.

1) Minwax poly sucks as i mentioned 2 minutes ago in another thread.

2) this "super fast dry " poly thing.

the top of the coat dries to quick when exposed to ventilation.

this causes the under part of the coat to remain wet.
next coat repeat process and last same..you have 3 coats not thoroughly dried..start over and use real pro poly.

be aware of your environment..rain etc..

stain could not have dired well..but ater 3 days..unlikely..that new formula( minwax) gives many troubles
