I am laying bruce t&g in a hallway (less than 100 sqf) I have a 16 g. finish nail gun and was told using those for installation would be ok if I doubled the amount of nails typically used. Will this be ok?

I do not like 16 gauge finish nails. I suppose you can install your hallway with a finish nailer but it is not the recommended way. You will increase your odds of squeeks, loose boards, and gaps.

There is a world of difference between a 15ga and a 16ga fastener.

I would not have a problem shooting that down with my DA250. It shoots a nail, though.

The Paslode shoots a little piece of wire. No bulk. No head.

How folks can justify the latter is beyond me.
