I'm using the Bona R851, on a glue only install (no nails) on a concrete subfloor.
The floor is 3/4 engineered of mixed lengths and widths.

Some of our 7" wide planks are bowed, and I'm wondering if I weight them down for at least 24hrs, If they'll be fine...
Or will they pull up the adhesive after awhile?

All our floor is reclaimed lumber, and because the pieces are so different from one another, it's taken some time to lay out the floor.
So swapping out any of the pieces would be very time consuming. I'd like to be able to use the bowed pieces if there's little to no risk.

Absolutely weight them down. You can also kerf the back to help it lay flat, just don't go to deep. Not familiar with Bona glue. Did do a moisture test on the slab? Is the Bona a vapor retarder + adhesive?

Thanks, going to give it a try.
Been living with the slab for over a year, with no apparent signs of moisture.
Bona does have a product (Bona R580) that's a moisture barrier sealer, but I stuck with the R851.
The R851:
Moisture Curing
Moisture protection up to 15lbs or 85% RH

For anyone interested, I got a response back from Bona as well today:

"Weighting the floor down is no problem at all and after 24 hours it should be adhered very well... so I don't see any issues with that process. "
