I am writing in regards to a lot of new hardwood flooring that I just bought. A large majority of the flooring is bowed and warped. I am not with a lot of experience in laying flooring so I am left a bit clueless on what posits the line that shouldn't be crossed with using planks that are too bowed or warped. Anyone have any advice on this topic, it'd help a ton. I just don't want to install the flooring and have problems with it years down the line.

The flooring that i bought is a tavern grade Bruce Kenedale strip at 3/4"s. Anyone have experience with this kind of discounted strip?

Thanks.

Tuff call! A little bowing is workable, but big bows are best not to use.

You get what you pay for. With tavern grade, you either install all the crummy boards because you're not worried about looks (that's why you bought the cheap stuff) or you toss aside all the crummy boards. In the later case, you're going to have so much waste you might have well bought a better grade to begin with - less waste means less needed to be purchased to begin with.

Heck,
Install it.
No problem if nailed down installation.
Not able to install if glue down.
