Howdy.

We purchased our wood from here and planned to DIY for an upstairs room and the living room. The upstairs is finished, but due to life circumstances, we can't DIY for the living room. All the wood and glue has been sitting boxed in the corner.

We are in Austin, TX and are looking for a recommendation of someone to do the install. Or, if you know where the right place to ask for a recommendation, that would be appreciated as well.

Thanks.
Chris

Hmmm, Just how quickly do you wish to have this done??

I have prior commitments until Christmas, basically.

How many Sq.Ft. and what kind of wood and what is the substrate it is going over? Any stairs involved?

It's the downstairs living room. There are no stairs involved. It adjoins slate floor in the kitchen area. It is a rectangular room with a brick fireplace on the narrow end (opposite the kitchen area).

The area is 310 sq. ft (20 ft. by 15.5 ft.) less 8.975 sq. ft for the fireplace = ~ 301 sq. ft. The wood is:
Appalachian Time Worn II Mandolin Spring (1/2" 5-ply engineered)

I have 19 unused boxes (18.375 sq. ft. each) totaling 349 sq. ft. of wood. I also have 8 gallons (and change) of Anderson Duck Glue for engineered wood. Additionally, I have about 21 feet of T-molding for the area that adjoins the slate.

Carpet is currently in the room on top of a concrete floor.

Cheers,
Chris

I have viewed many examples of Floorguy's work. If you all can get together he would be a smart choice for you.
