I just received my new Bostitch MIIIFN floor nailer but it didn't come with an air connector fitting. I went to Home Depot and the guy gave me some fittings that were wrong and I think started stripping the threads on the MIIIFN.

The Bostitch instructions are the worst ever and don't even say what fitting is needed. Does anyone know what I need to buy to fit the nailer?

Thanks,
Scott

3/8. If you really screwed it up ,you can go to Napa and get a Helicoil kit. About twenty bucks, but works every time. Make sure you vacuum out the metal before you use the tool.

Good advice Chuck! Just how come Bostitch doesn't use the same 1/4" everyone else does I have no idea. Gets everyone hunting around for those odd size fittings that no one carries!

Some guys like the bigger fitting. I hear they don't leak air like the 1/4 in. Too late for me to start switching. That a lot of brass to buy.
