I just purchased this stapler. I am about to install 3/4 Unfinished white oak. It came with a base plate already installed and two extra white plates. Will the one already installed be the right one for installing 3/4 white oak? What's the Ideal PSI using this stapler to install the white oak? Which staples should I use 1-1/2" - 2" ? I purchase a 3/8 npt by 1/4 to work with my compressor. What's the best way to install the npt to the nailer? Teflon tape around the thread? Any tips will greatly appreciated.

The M3 should be ready for 3/4 thick tongue and groove flooring right out of the box. No modification necessary.

Ideal PSI is approximately 90 pounds .Maybe a little less like 85 depending on the compressor.

If you have 3/4 flooring and a 3/4 sub floor , you will want to buy the 2 inch staples.

One wrap of teflon tape is all that is needed for your coupling. Don't over tighten and you will be good .
