I am installing Versa Strip floating floor in a Kitchen area that drops down on 2 sides to a Sunken Living Room. I can provide expansion to the whole perimeter except on these 2 sides where I want to put flush Stair Nose that will be nailed down. The 2 sides are about 15' long.
Will this cause expansion problems? I would use "Over The Top" type Stair Nose Material to provide the needed expansion space, but Universal Flooring makes only the flush type Stair Nose. Any ideas on where I could buy the "Over The Top" tair Nose in Maple? The flooring is 9/16' inch thick
Appreciate any and all advice as I am a newbie to flooring and want it done right..

Thanks;

Both Award and Tarkett carry the "lip-over" style of stair nosing for floating floors. They both have maple and are 9/16"thick floors.
