Woodworker, but no floor experience. Plan is to apply 1 coat bona classic sealer, followed by 2 coats of traffic. Traffic will be applied with roller, but wondering what my best approach is for the sealer.

Bona video says roller is not good for the seal coat, as it's too easy to show lap lines.

Never used a t-bar, and since it's only a bedroom and hallway, I was thinking maybe using a padco 10" on a stick would be better. Maybe try troweling it with the pad, but if that didn't work, just do the best I can.

My fear is that with a t-bar, i'd just screw it up as seen many comments about bona seal being tricky with lap lines.

Any input is appreciated.

I have used a pad for the entire room. It makes cutting in easier. Use it like a T-bar with snow plow technique.
