I'll be recoating my floors. i've been reading that lots of people on here are in love with bona traffic. I can get minwax waterbase poly 2 min from my house. My closest Bona Traffic distributor is 45 min away. Is it really worth the trip? That much better than minwax? Why?

Oh, and it says on the website for PROS only! Is it ok for DIY?

thanks again!

Hello there, I am writing from the UK. My husband and I have just renovated a pine floor in our 180 year old house and the boards have gone from a dark brown/black colour to a fantastic, amazing, out of this world finish. We did this ourselves, hiring a sander and an edger, taking 3 days. We applied 4 coats of Bona Traffic (we were going to use Bona Mega but the store was out of stock!). The finish is amazing and it was VERY easy to apply, certainly OK for DIY. We drove 50 miles to get the Traffic, and was definately worth it. One fantastic thing about the traffic is that there are no nasty fumes, so you dont have to leave the house, and there is no danger to the children. Go for it! :P
