I used bona traffic in my foyer and it has held up incredibly well. I couldn't be happier. I had my floor in my kitchen refinished and they insisted a sealer and varnish was the way to go. I wasn't real happy with the work but that's in the past. I want to rent one of those orbital sander deals to smooth everything out and apply finish again. The bona traffic has held up sooo much better I want to use it again.

Now, how do I go about using this stuff over varnish? The poly is about 1.5 years old. Do I just sand the floor real well and apply?

Since the varnish was put down quite awhile ago the only prep you should need to do is to buff the floor. I would suggest using a 220 grit sanding screen for this. Then you can apply the traffic right over this finish.
