This forum has been tremendously helpful, but I can see there are some differences of opinion on products! I've posted about my need to degloss a prefinished maple floor. I've gotten advice on products and today had a contractor come out for an estimate. Based on advice I've received, I specifically requested Bona Naturalle. He said he has worked with Bona, and said it could be done via screen and recoat, although he kept referring to Bona Traffic. The other product I was considering was Street Shoe matte. He could also put that down. I sense he is willing to use whichever I ask for. However, I just looked at my earlier posting and see a contractor is blasting Naturalle...saying it is overhyped...and suggesting Street Shoe or Traffic. Now I am completely confused, so I'll pitch the question this way: If you were going to refinish a maple prefinished hardwood floor, without sanding, and the customer wanted the most matte and durable finish possible, which product would you recommend? Street Shoe, Bona Traffic, or Bona Naturalle? Thanks for your opinions.
