My small house has a collection of odd angles. I'm looking at putting down solid bamboo flooring, but I’m bewildered by the angles. I'm looking at doing my bedroom and hallway in the bamboo. The room has a long west wall that I'd like to run the boards parallel. The hall connects my bedroom and the living room. The ends of the hall may seem to be roughly the same... but... the entrance on the side of my bedroom has two angles. One for the bedroom wall where it connects to the ceiling and one where it connects to the northern wall of the bedroom where it juts into and is part of the hall. Sorry, I'll include a drawing. It's hard to describe it seems... (In the pic, my bedroom is in the top left.)

My problem is I'd like the hall to look its best and don't know how the boards should run and come together. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Here is a 3d view from the hallway looking down towards the bedroom. You can see where the wall of the bedroom lines up with the north wall.

If I continue with the lines the hallway only looks slightly weird.

But, here's the problem... if I continue the lines the angle created at the connection of the hallway to to living room looks weird.

Thoughts?

Also, the angle where the boards would meet the sink in the hall seems odd if I keep the same line-up. It just seems like the hallway boards should be perpendicular to the sink and then that would line up with the living room door.

Final picture... I had to export to sketchup to draw the flooring perpendicular to the sink. I couldn't do it in my other program. I think this is what should be done. Does anyone have a thought?

In my opinion, you should install the wood in the bedroom first, and make sure you span across the floor joists. It is not recommended to install the flooring in the same direction as the joists.
You could put a transition in the hall doorway, simply place one piece of flooring straight across the doorway, like a threshold.
This way you can install the wood in the bedroom first, and cut the boards tight against the transition.
Then you can install the wood in the hall in either direction. It is not as crucial in smaller areas to cross the joists,so you should be able to install that wood in the direction that suits you best.
This isn't the only way it can be done, but perhaps the simplest.
