I'm about to install some maple hardwood, over a plywood subfloor. However i noticed the 15#felt paper i picked up is made in China. Just a DIYer, doing this for the first time.

Not feeling very comfortable about this. Would rather pay more and get something made in the USA. Once the floor is installed (nail install) its going to be a real drag to find out that there's problems with the chinese felt paper.

Rather cut my loses now and buy stars and stripes.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as where to get some ?

I'd like to start the install next Sat, as my maple is currently acclimating itself.

A double 'kraft' paper will work as well as felt.We use aqua bar. Made in Salinas, CA.
