I just have had a new hardwood floor installed. I'm looking for the best vacuum that will not scratch the floor and has very good suction. Any suggestions?

Hey, I am a crippled up old man without the downsides of having a wife, so ya, whenever the dirt gets too deep, I haul out my backpack vacuum and stroll through the house, sorta cleaning.

ProTeam makes all types. They are really commercial grade vacuum cleaners. They have some compact backpack styles, as well as hip styles that are compact. ProTeam cleaners are renowned for the durability, quietness and quality filtration. One thing I prefer about vacuums you wear is you do not need to be concerned about the canister bumping into walls, doors and cabinets. And stairways are so much easier with back pack or hip styles. I use a ProTeam Super Coach and it is very good.
