I'm a newbie here, and have a question regarding Bella Cera 1/2" Hand Scraped Engineered floor. I have seen the product and it appears to compare with Anderson's Virginia Vintage (Warranty, wear layer, etc). However, I have not come across this manufacturer and cannot find any info on them. Anyone know anything about them?

Isn't that manufactured by Award?

I don't think so....It is distributed by Sea-Pac Sales in Washington State....believe it is Chinese product that they private label under the name "Bela Cera".
Other than that, I don't have any feedback on it.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll see if I can find any more info on them. On another note, I'm a DIYer with just enough skills to be dangerous. I'm planning our ripping out the carpet on the 2nd Floor (approx. 2,000 sf) and replacing with engineered floor. Like most people I don't want a hollow sound underneath. I'll check the substrate and use a good quality underlayment. I'm planning on floating for ease of installation. Am I better off glueing or stapling? Also, any suggestions for a good quality hand scraped hickory or maple? We'd like to use the distressed floor because of our three dogs and two children. Is it possible to find this type floor in lengths longer than 48"?

I have also heard of Bella Cera Hardwood Floors and highly recommend their product line. My wife and I just had our floors installed and we absolutely love it!
