 Post subject: baseboard heat

house has hot water baseboard heat. when installing 3/4" wood flooring, what should i do about the end caps?

cut them so the floor fits under them?

butt the floor against them?

remove and re-install them? in several rooms they are built into the wall...impossible to remove.

need to know soon...supposed to install this weekend!!
