ok, help! we have new bamboo planks, 5/8" size, wanting to place onto new concrete foundation [which was poured in late june of this year in SoCal where it has been 100 degrees + over summer]. In the process of doing a home test for moisture but the installer wanted to glue on directly onto the new concrete, using titebond adhesive. My questions are:
1) shouldn't there be a moisutre barrier, thin blue poly sheeting at the very least,
2) should i also use, or use in place of poly sheeting, a liquid sealant, and
3) should the floor be free from plaster splatter or should it really be cleaned off, so it is relatively dust-free?
