I want to install a T-moulding between the bamboo flooring and a concrete floor of same height (5/8" over plywood subfloor).

1) How to best install the moulding (glue, nail (through face, ...) ??? Please detail.

2)Do I need to leave a gap between concrete and tongue of T-moulding, in addition to a gap between moulding and bamboo ? Would 1/4" be enough ?

3) Any additional recommendations are welcome.

Cheers :)

I think there are options, but the important thing is to fasten to one side only, so the bamboo floor can expand/contract independently of the concrete.
Leave at least .25 gap between T-mold and bamboo.

I would be strongly tempted to clean the concrete thoroughly and then use a polyurethane construction adhesive to hold the strip to the concrete side, and underneath the T-strip, to the subfloor, leaving the Bamboo floor to slide underneath.

Or, you could probably nail it to the bamboo side, leave it floating over the concrete. For some reason the other way seems better to me though.
