I have been looking at vertical grain for a while now and wondered who has it and how they like it...what kind do you have etc...

I guess no one has a long or short term report on this yet. I would really like to put this floor down but I am a little leary on quality and durability.

I've seen some that have been down for more than five years, but it all goes back to the care put into it. Well taken care of; it will look great down the road. Abused and neglected--like anything else--many will complain "they said it was durable" or "harder than oak blah, blah, blah"

It kind of reminds me of when Pergo first came out and they had all those fancy gimmicks in flooring showrooms. Won't scratch, ding, dent and on. In general the darker colored bamboos will be softer, but many seem to choose that color. Vertical looks too busy in my opinion.
