Our flooring company called and said that there are some areas that are pretty bad with the master bedroom being 1 inch over the standard of the home builders specs. 1st floor is slab and 2nd floor is plywood, I think, but not sure. I don't know if the builders have time to meet the standards since escrow closes next Monday, the 16th. Or maybe they have to? We are contacting them today.

We havn't discussed the prices of floor prep on a brand new home with our flooring company, I am waiting for my husband to call him back.

Just wondering what the average cost is to sand down a floor??

Are you referring to grinding down humps in concrete and sub floor prep?

Hi Gary!!

Yes.

We just talked to the builder and they are going to sand the areas down. So never mind. Thanks for responding. :D
