There are about 6 small areas (generally less than the size of my hand) where there are ridges in the floor finish. They are odd shapes, sometimes triangular and others longer and thinner; they vary. This coating was put on today, finished at about 5:00 pm. Otherwise, the floor looks okay.

Am I destined to have these forever? One patch is located in our dining area of the kitchen which means we will feel the ridges every time we slide the chair in and out... I'm not too happy....

I'm wondering if there are any techniques to spot fix these? And, if so, is the timing of this important relative to a full curing time?
Thanks in advance!

Do you have any pictures of the problem areas ? Off the top of my head, it sounds like they left puddles and or missed spots (skips) in the finish. If so , they will have to do some spot touch up or maybe even buff and re coat the whole area.Either way, a pro company should leave your floor with a smooth coating , no drips and no puddles or misses.
