 Post subject: Anyone will expalain project specifications?

Location: Marin County
A General: Provide wood stirp flooring system with accessories as required for complete finished installation.

B. Standards: Comply with NOFMA

C.Wood Floor: As indicated on Drowings,as directed by Architect where not otherwise indicated, tongueand grooved with three coats ocrylic urethane finish

D. Wood Strip Floorin Fasteners: Blind nail strip flooring to subfloor as recomendes by NOFWA

E. Floor Finish; Polyurethane or modified polyurethane; tye as recomender by flooring manufacturer, satin sheen, minimum two coats system over stain and filler

F. Divider Stris: Match wood strrp flooring

G.Installation;Comply with manufacturer recomendations and referenced standards; blind nail, fill, sand and finsih wood flooring

H. Installation over Concrete;Provide minimum 6 mil polyethylene sheet vapo retarder with joints and edges taped, two layers 1/2" exterior tongue and groove plywood underlaymant with joints staggered, bling nail; sand smooth and finish.

I. INstallation over Concrete Slab on Grade; Provide two layers 1/2" exterior tongue and groover lywood underlament with joints staggered; blind nail; sand smooth and finish.

J. Sheet weterproofing provided in Section 07130- Sheet Waterproofing

K. floor finish: Sand flooring, remove dust, apply finish materials in three coats in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and application instructions, buff with steel wool to remove irregularities between coats





Here is what I need help with:

E. What is the difference between the polyurethane and modified polyurethane

F. Is devider strip T molding thresholds and so on?

H What is that mean?

I What is the difference between Concrete and Concrete slab-on Grade

They left a little out of "H", maybe what "J" is??

Asphalt masticis applied to the concrete after flattening to specs, and then no less then 6 mil poly.

This is a job you don't want to bid on until you see what the MVE is from the concrete first!!
You could loose your butt!!!
