I have concrete slab and would like to install solid hardwood DIY, so I've been looking at the Timberclick product line at Floor & Decor. It's a floating solid hardwood product as far as I know it's the only one of its kind which sort of scares me. If anyone has used this product and provide feedback, it would be greatly appreciated.

I will give you my (unprofessional feedback). I imagine you're done by now, but I'm curious if you had the same experiences I did. I used the Natural Oak style which is composed of a bunch of a pieces glued together as opposed to the single piece style. The click lock system was great to use when it worked, however the width of their pieces varied from by up to 2.5mm. That cost me a lot of extra time trying to match up pieces. I also found a lot of cracks that went all the way through the board, rotten parts that would break in your hand etc.. I think they are using scraps for it causing the issues.

Anyone have any updates to this thread re Timberclick? I'm just beginning to shop around and looked at this last night. Material choices seem a bit overwhelming - then finding a reputable company to do the install looks challenging as well.

Theres someone who posted a bad review of it below this video. They said to check all the bad reviews on it on the facebook page which I did but they have been removed.

It looks like there are quite many people unhappy with this product.
Here is the link

As mentioned in the discussion you probably should use NWFA certified independent inspectors to help you with any claim.
