I am trying to remove hardwood flooring that is glued down to a 1/4" Particle board which is nailed to the subfloor. What is the best way to remove. I am finding it so difficult to remove this. The carpets in the other rooms were a piece of cake. This one is so dam tight. can't even get the pry bar under the particle board or the hardwood floor.

As alwayz, thanks a bunch for your advice.

My choice would be to take a circular saw set to correct depth you need to cut without going through the "good" subfloor. Cut the old floor into two foot sections and you should be able to pry the smaller sections up easier than just trying to bust it out.

I agree! Set your saw to the depth of the particle board and flooring, and cross cut the flooring.
