Hello

We installed (via a contractor) a strand-woven eucalyptus pre-finished floor. It looks great and the durability and “hardness” seems to be very good. The only issue is when a vase of water got knocked over. While we cleaned up it right away some water made it into the tiny gap between the cut-end of the boards and caused one of them to pucker. True to the mfg’s claim, 95% of it went away after a week or so when it dried but a little remains.

My question is whether there are any practical means to fill/seal/protect the floor in case something like this happens again. The mfg, flooring company and contractor have been little help.

Thanks,
Mike
