I'm getting different opinions on whether to nail or glue down 5/16--3/8 engineered flooring. Senco makes a nailer (stapler) to install the thin stuff but different suppliers give different opinions. I would like to hear some opinions here. It will be installed over 3/4 plywood above grade with a heated basement underneath.

Either way will work fine. Glue is expensive. Most prefer to staple/nail over wood substrate and use glue/adhesive for concrete UNLESS it is wide plank OR the manufacturer requires the use of adhesive.
