My husband and I really like the look of the HomerWood Oak and Hickory hand-scraped 4" but wondered if it was worth the high price tag (about $11 sq. ft before install). We are not ambitious enough to try hand-scraping ourselves.
Also, should I be worried about putting hickory 4" solid hand-scraped planks over a crawl space when the humidity of the subfloor has been measured at 10%?
Thanks in advance!

10% is average MC for my region. May be high for your region

You should do some shopping around. There's far too many brands out there, especially when you can buy direct on the internet.

I would never pay $11 a square for Oak or Hickory. Even if it's the best handscraped out there. You should easily be able to buy premium handcraped wood for $6-8 in 4 inch wide solid format on the internet.

jperryrocks: Thanks for your feedback. Are there any other brands for handscraped solid wood planks that you would recommend other than Homerwood?

I gotta say that I love the Homerwood. For the fact that the final caoat of finish on the product does not contain any additives and will make recoating in the future much easier.

I feel the price is worth it. One of the best looking floors I have installed was a 3", 4", 5" repeating pattern, using homerwood walnut.
