You know, I emailed him after not seeing him post for 4-6 weeks , kinda worried. Didnt hear back, quite a while has passed since. I figured you guys knew what was going on, and I was just out of the loop, had him on some top secret stuff or something. Seems like it happened not long after he moved.

It would be nice if he showed back up. He always wrote a nice detailed reply.

I've been wondering as well. Could be that he's burned out with message boards. Temporary, permanent? I go through the same thing every now and then, but this goes back to '98 when there were few and far in between on flooring message boards. There were only a few anyway.

Floorsearch.com had a good one when spam (hardly existed back then) wasn't a problem

Oh and floormeintucson (SP) dude started it all. He's kinda the AL Gore of flooring message boards...LOL...then there's Perry who can be found on the most message boards by a flooring guy. I wonder what the count is Perry? 50,100?

Gary is prized, hope all is well with him. I have his phone number somewhere.

I have no idea what Ken is talking about. But people do get burned out with it. Least for a couple days thens there's this burning desire to help someone, or toast an inspector.

I too sometimes get "burned out", but am amazed that after 50 years in this business, I still learn things about the hardwood industry through this forum.
I use this forum more for gaining information than helping the consumer; although I do get satisfaction from being able to share what I DO know.
